Was thinking at work today about rust proofing options with my truck ( live in Minnesota ) and was wondering because I never heard of this option .. Just use regular wax on the under body? anyone ever heard of this .. just an idea

i douche the whole underside and all the suspension components with Fluid Film about once a month or so...i drive on the beach quite often.......cheers

Sounds strange, but spray the underside with boiled linseed oil from Home Depot. Also drive on the beach often. Hadn't done this new truck yet,.and took it out for one day,.and an surprised at howe much rust showed up so quickly. And yes, I washed it thoroughly right after driving off the beach.

i'd spray the underbody with spray-on bedliner (restore it first if its not new, wont do really good if it's full of dust). that would stop rust! strong, and protects it like rubber or plastic!
