Though thinking about it.. I’m afraid that this way will also cause the lights to flash opposite of the turn signals instead of all together

That seems pretty similar to my idea with the exception that he's running the light directly off the power to the bulb. My idea needed a second relay to power the lights directly via the battery but I suppose with how little power LEDs draw you might be able to get away with doing that and only using one relay. Would definitely be a cleaner install. Unfortunately would still have the out of sync blinking issue though as you mentioned.

If only we could see a diagram on how the trucks wiring is for the stock parking light/turn signal circuit.. that would help lol

In the comments of his video he told someone that an led only flows current one way.. a halogen bulb can flow current both ways.

I'm 90% sure that it's just 3 wires to the parking/signal bulb. One for ground, one for the parking light and one for the signal since it's a dual filament bulb.

yeah but I wanna see the whole schematic that includes the fuse, relays, etc and see what they done to make it work. Your idea of 2 relays is probably on the right track

That looks good! And I think that blinker genie might actually work, don't see why you couldn't use it to trigger a relay that powers the lights. Might have to pick up a pair of those and do some experiments!
