Default RSC/ESC really does work

On my way to work yesterday I got to try out the RSC/ESC system on my 09 Screw. The trip seemed like any other on these winding curvy roads that I travel that have limited visibility. Go around a curve and in my lane is a 18 wheeler in my lane coming right at me. No time to think, I just whipped it off the road, when it hit the ditch the truck slid sideways as the trailer went by just a few feet away. (I have been in a few wrecks when I was younger so I remembered this sick feeling of being out of control and thinking I was going to wreck) Just as fast the truck straightened itself up. It was not because of anything I did because I didnt have time to do anything. I pulled it back onto the road, over steered, it whipped around a little, but I was back in control. I was going about 60 and I would guess the 18 wheeler was also. This all happen in a second and it was over. The RSC/ESC realy does work.
Thanks Ford,
Trueblue1

But don't you feel that it's hampering your ability to use your elite honed driving skills? Surely you could have reacted just as fast as the CPU in the truck did!

Sarcasm at it's best (I hope).

Good thing it worked out for you Trueblue1, sounds like it could have been real bad.

Normally I would agree with you but I was texting, tuning the radio, lighting a cigarette, eating a bowl of cereal, drinking a beer, checking my email, and combing my hair at the time so my elite honed driving skills were not as fast as usual.

Thanks, Trueblue1

I don't know about you but I can shave while I'm eating cereal and drinking a beer. Good story though.
