roush performance
hey there just bought a 2014 f150 ecoboost.
i have a 4" fabtech lift ordered being installed early next week, and will have a set of 35" procomp mt2s on 18" fuel anza wheels. i am looking to try and get some of my power back that i will lose with the bigger tires so talked to my dealer and the only way to keep my warranty would be to have them install somthing of the roush brand
i was lookin into the phase 1 power pack and installing the roush duel rear exit echaust. this kit claims to gain 50HP and 89ft lbs trq.
was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this kit and if it is worth doing it to get power back i do a good bit of towing and want to try and keep all the ecoboost power and even gain some,
thanks to anyone who can help

Yes roush has a warranty system but make sure the dealership will still honour your warranty. The roush warranty is only 3yr 36,000 miles.
Another option if you want a custom tune is Stage 3/5 Star. You can purchase their 5 yr 60,000mile or 6yr 100,000mile warranty.
Third option is the diablosport which is allegedly invisible to dealerships.

gears are the way to chase that lost power IMO... without re-gearing, your engine and trans needs to work harder regardless of what you do or do not do performance wise.... i haven't seen this written anywhere, but the service manager at my local dealer noticed my tire size and mentioned "increasing tire size beyond 3% could be grounds for warranty denial in a transmission issue"... if you re-geared correctly, that would be a hard battle for them to win.

Thank you for replays and help the only reason I mention the roush is because that is the only way they will honour my 5 year 100,000km warranty and when I read up on it the 50hp and 100lbs trq to the krank sounds extremely good for a gas pickup.
