Default Roush exhaust?

Has anybody else here recently ordered a Roush exhaust for the 5.0 or 6.2? I recently ordered this from Stage 3 Motorsports (599 with free shipping) and it has yet to ship. Their web site stated it was in stock and would ship in 24 to 48 hours and I ordered it on 4/30. Seems a bit longer than 48 hours.

They are telling me that this is the busiest time of year and this is a very popular item right now. They also stated it was shipping directly from Roush and that they had to "kit" the exhaust and ship it.

Just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue with getting their hands on a Roush exhaust recently.

I think the delay is from who you bought it from. I got my exhaust kit (Borla) last week it shipped April 30 and arrived next day they had in stock and by that I mean they had in "their" stock not being shipped from the manufacturer.

It's annoying when online retailers don't have an item in their stock, once purchased I get impatient. :P

Yeah I hear you. I'm itching to get it on my truck. I will say that Stage 3 has been responsive on this. I believe the issue here is with Roush, but I do wish they would not put 24 to 48 hours on the site if that isn't the case.

if i knew what i know now i wouldn't have purchased the roush kit.
my rear pipe section got damaged while the truck was on a lift the leaf spring was actually jamed into the side of the pipe after the truck suspension went to full droop. and also all the piping rusted like crazy over the winter only parts that didn't rust and tarnish where the tips and muffler

ill give the exhaust some credit as it sounds awesome although i had to install the resonator back into the system as the drone was far to much for my daily highway commute still sounded great after the res. ive since removed the roush kit and im looking into one of the solo kits

roush fluffed of my complaint

I ordered mine through my local ford dealer and it took two weeks to get. You might just have to be patient. The exhaust has been on there for two weeks or so now and I like it. There are a couple things I thought I would like to tell you, first is I dont recommend this to do in your driveway if you do, take your time to do it, it is a pain to do. I used a hoist and it went up and down a bunch of times to make sure it all fit, and I still put a dent in the exhaust doing it. I ended up bending a hanger for it to sit right. Do Not cut your pipe until you have it all sitting right, that is the last step. I have the ecoboost and it is all the same exhaust dont think any of that matters you probably will have the same issues. I wasnt thrilled of the noise it produced but you cant beat a v8 for noise. Although mine isnt overly noisy which is good but it kinda sounds like a import. I like the look of the duals out the back not too many others make an exhaust like that so its little bit different. Good luck I think the wait will be worth it. Cheers.

ordered my roush exhaust from stage 3 motorsports , couldn't get a tracking number from anywhere however it just showed up one day, cant remember how long it took but it wasn't bad, roush likes to take their sweet *** time though ordered a cold air intake from them thru brenspeed took about two months because they were waiting on the tube that takes 20 seconds to injection mold

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate the feedback! I still haven't heard anything about my order. I'm hopeful it just shows up on the doorstep in the next day or so. Was really hoping to get it on this weekend.

In all fairness to Stage 3 - they made this right and shipped my exhaust overnight to arrive tomorrow.
