To me it seems to be the perfect option for 09-14.

I, personally, would not trust a Chinese-made piece of equipment if I needed it in a pinch. Warn, Ramsey, etc. are the only completely trustworthy pieces of equipment.

You'd be surprised to know just how many items you use on a daily basis are made in China and have been for at least a decade or longer. The RC hidden mount is solid.

I could be wrong but I don't think warn is made in America. I know a lot of the components are made over seas.

Warn is made in Clackamas, OR. From US made parts. They do have the "VR" model that they admit is made in China. Why? Here's their quote to me: "The VR series is made in China for us. It is a price point winch that we use to compete in the market place with online retailers and other discounters."

Further comment from Warn: "The Zeon winch is made right her in Oregon. It is a superior product from end to end." And then they even have the CTI version, which is even more heavy duty/expensive.

Be sure of your facts before posting. And consider what you expect your equipment to do when spending your hard-earned money. Do you spend it once, or more? Remember what they say: "The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low cost is forgotten."

I have experience with warn and for the most part it has been positive. However I would question how much of the product is actually made in America. Just because it is assembled here doesn't mean all the components are manufactured here.

Any way back on topic.

I have the warn hidden winch plate, and it is extremely solid and quality piece, I bolted a Warn VR10000 winch to it. I have my disagreements about the "instructions" that came with the winch but it has nothing to do with the quality of the winch itself. It's amazing and gets plenty of compliments. RNL, your truck is still one of my favorites on this forum, just gorgeous.

Do you have a link for the Warn hidden mount? Warn's website shows applications for pre 2003 models, but nothing for the 09-14's.
