RMS replacement = engine light
Well, here I am again. Found a small oil leak on the back side of the engine/ tranny area awhile back. Suspected rms, but was told could be the opg too (got to love being hopeful, but no dice). When I finally got the dust shield off, I was almost certain it was the RMS, but took it to a shop to confirm. It was confirmed, and even though it wasn't "that bad" yet, I told them I wanted to go ahead and fix it to avoid future problems. I'm too busy to worry about forgetting to check it everyday.
Anyways, received truck back yesterday, still runs like a beast but now I've got an engine light that I didn't have before. Mechanic put it on computer and cleared it thinking it was just a sensor that might need reset after the repair, but it came back later on. What are the suspects I need to know? This was above my automotive education level, and i DON'T want this to be an on going game of clear the code and she'll just go away while something could go terribly wrong. I'm supposed to run it by tomorrow after work. I'll try to get the code and add it here. But for now, just need an idea of possibles.
Thanks!
