Default Revenge!

After hunting deer since college the deer have finally gotten their revenge and they took it out on my truck! He bolted full speed across a 3 lane highway and I hit him in the slow lane doing about 50ish. All I saw was a blur of brown and wham. Now I waiting for the adjuster to come out and tally it up. Damage goes down the passenger side when he rolled around the truck hitting the mirror, doors, and bed of the truck. My friend and I weren't hurt but the deer and truck have seen better days. Could have been worse. Will share the rest later.

Truck can be fixed....deer can't.

Fortunate that you're OK.

Sucks, but be happy you have a steel panel truck. Friend of mine has a 2017 and a deer hit him and it had a heck of a lot more damage.

Yup, believe it or not the insurance company said almost 5 grand in damage. Now a lot is to repair things like painting the side of the truck that the deer scraped as it went down the side of the truck. Crazy, enterprise gave me a 2017 short bed cult with the base 3.5L I actually gained some respect for the NA motor. Has enough for a normals days drive gives good gas mileage but don't try to beat any yellow lights it's a dog once you floor it. Funny to say I also think it has more low end then my 2013 ecoboost 3.5L! But the Eco will smoke it if it comes down to punching the pedal!

Not too bad. I hit one in November at it did about $9k in damage. Hit the deer slamming on the brakes after going about 75mph. Must have hit the deer just right, tried to line it up as best I could, but it demolished my radiator and more
