Default Reusing suspension nuts/bolts

I'm planning on lowering my truck this coming weekend and in the ford workshop manual it says to remove, discard, and replace the majority of the nuts and bolts I will be taking out. Is this because they are all torque to yield bolts? Is it truly necessary to replace all of them? A few of the bolts are pretty expensive such as the lower shock bolt which has an MSRP of almost $60 per bolt...

I dont know what exactly goes into lowering these trucks, but I leveled mine and did rear shocks and I didn't replace any bolts and they seem to be holding fine.
