Well full retrofit means you have to do major cutting to the projector housing, it's very doable but can be nerve racking, alignment of the projectors can be annoying also. If you are willing to try I suggest watching every video on the trs website as they pretty much guide you the whole way. A lot of the fxr install is trial and error, where the mini h1 is far more simple. For the kit you would need to get the complete fxr bi xenon (hi and low beam in 1) you would need jb weld, jb stick, resealing glue, shroud, I suggest sticking to the 35w kit because the bulbs will last longer. Really the fxr can be simple or very complicated depending how custom you want to make it

Well sadly I'm probably better off just buying the retro headlights. I feel like i could save money but if i mess it up im probably out money in the long run. I would really love to give it a shot though.

how handy are you? ever use a dremel? you could always do the mini h1

You wouldn't need a dremel with an H1. Well... you're better off with one, but you wouldnt *NEED* one...

Yeah.. well sorry im new to the whole thing. I want to buy a kit that has everything that i need basically in it, I just would like to know whats a good kit.

in the drop down boxes
projectors: fxr 3.0 lhd
bulbs: 35w (color choice, I recommend 5000k)
wire harness: moto control bixenon h13
glue : butyl
ballast: d2s 3five dsp
shround: your choice, select something deep
halo: none, but your choice, known to fail eventually


also get 2 jbwelds and 2 jb quik stick
