Cool....

LED strip does not bother me..

Message received from seller. The non-LED strip lights do NOT use the same projector as the ones with the strip. Awaiting there reply to see which projector is used in order to seek info on the projector used.

Subscribed. Just threw a set of HIDs in my Wife's edge sport and now my f150s lights suck lol. Do these have a shutter in them? Is that how they switch from low to high beam with the same HID bulb?

Look a page back, I already posted the info in which projector the other ones use. You realize the non led strip ones are a totally different headlight, right? They're just a clone of the oem reflectors painted and fitted with a projector.

Hmmm. So as long as I buy the ones with the LED strip as long as they're Spec-D, I could order a set of 35w HIDs from the retrofit source and install them. Anyone seeing any issues from heat? Can they be adjusted up and down as well? You guys keep costing me money lol.

it seems like you could do that with either one, just depends which headlight you prefer. Both have HID projectors, and yes you could just order an HID bulb and ballast kit.

It definitely gets hot with the 35w kit i have, but so far no issues.

Is the manufacturer of these lights dynamix? I saw one on ebay with the LED strip that said dynamix in the lens. I had a set of dynamix lights on my Mach 1. They leaked like a screen and started peeling after a year. My car is a garage queen and never sits outside so I was really disappointed.

Also what do you guys think of this kit? I have a spare set of headlights I would mind trying this on and the price is right to give it a shot. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...age-3-kit.html

These are produced by a company who's American moniker is "dland automotive"

The kit you posted is the generic Chinese projectors that go under a number of names, none of which appear to be as good as the koito projectors used in these lights, so it wouldn't make sense to retrofit a worse lens in these. Why not just get a bulb and ballast? Or if you're going to swap projectors go with mishimoto or so.ething better
