Default Retro Fits w a lil bling

Feedback welcome please. Been looking for awhile now into swapping out the chrome and possibly going with the plasma tube style, and waffling between chrome or black, and decided to tone it down a bit and settled on these (plus they were a lot less expensive). They are similar to OEM projectors but without the F150 insignia inside. Best thing about it is the return policy is 60 days no questions full $ back. No extra harnesses or anything needed, pure plug n play (except for the e-z splice for LED's into the parking light wires). I haven't yet checked for level or used them at night since I just got done installing, but will do so tomorrow evening. I'm concerned that with my leveled truck the low beams might cause opposing drivers some pain, I'll drive around tomorrow night and test that, too.

these actually don't look all that bad. I'd run an extra bead of silicone to seal them up. Where'd you find them? Though about running a HID kit in them for better light output?

a hid kit in them won't give better output, it will put out more light, but still not as focused as a true hid projector. the cutoff line is blury with hids in a halogen projector...... been down that road with my old ranger, twice, before I went to TRS and bought a set of mini H1 and did a proper retrofit.

But to the OP, they look way better than the OEM halogens.

Link to them? I kinda think they'd look better without the LED strip hooked up unless you put white bulbs in the turn signal location.

Yes,looks a lot better than the halogens. But, I too, would like a link to those. Maybe what I'll do for my Ranger next.

What I was thinking as well
Why must aftermarket companies go that extra inch to make it undesirable? They would've been pretty much a OEM knockoff halogen projector that people would've bought 1000's of

I'm just not sure about any of it, LED HID blah blah blah. Retro Fit, harnesses. blah blah, too much to read and try to figure out. I don't know enough nor am I crazy enough to drop a huge sum of money on something so unnecessary, so I won't be trying to do anything more with these if I keep them. It doesn't increase the vehicle value anyway. I do like the different styles of LED strips that you see on the road today, so thought I'd toy around.

really, the OEM halogens are fine to me, I'm just bored I guess and wanted to throw $200 out the window, wether LED's are cool or not as someone posted (or is making fun of me, yo. it's all good). The OEM's kind of help the wheels blend in a little better, too. These "retro-fit" can be had in chrome as well, for even less $.

Not sure if these are halogen's or LED projector's. They make my fog's look real yellow. I had to reuse my side marker and turn sig bulbs, and tap the LED strip into the side marker wires. Simple. I'll try for some nighttime pics tonight or tomorrow.

I'm actually thinking of these. Should be pretty easy to retrofit if I went that route
