HIDs are in. Match my 6000k LED pods in the fogs damn near perfect.

On the negative side, China forgot to ship mine with a grommet for the stupid *** LED strip wires, so I drove a bolt in the hole and now I'm dealing with a crap ton of water in there. Threw a few silica gel packets in there so hopefully that does something :/

Very happy with light output. Low beam is perfect, any brighter and it would be blinding. Hi beam doesn't add much brightness but seems to throw longer. Cutoff is great on both. These projector lenses actually seem to be better suited for HIDs than the halogens they come with. The cutoff on hi beam is testament to that, as with halogens it had a weird dropoff in the middle but with HIDs the cutoff is straight and looks right. If you get these lights, definitrly get a 35w ballast and 6000k bulb HID kit, night and day difference.

Did you try contacting the company about the missing grommet? Sounds like you don't like the LED strips, and would rather just pull the plug.
I also seem to have a moisture problem with these, went through the touchless car wash and when I got home I noticed the driver side lens was good and fogged up. I did notice that the shop that installed my HID kit butchered the headlight rubber protector pretty good, but I'm thinking I might have to pull these to run a bead of silicone around the edges where the lens meets the housing, or so I've been reading.

Yeah i did and they are sending me a replacement with free shipping on the return headlight, so their customer service was top notch so far. The other light that DID have the grommet is sealed perfectly, so I'm hoping this replacement fairs the same.

I'm actually talking to the manufacturer of these lights over in Gangzhou China about making a variation of this light without the strips. Might either do a bulk order and resell or maybe just convince them to start producing and selling the lights themselves. He seemed receptive to the idea.

yours looks a lot whiter than Blessedhellride's

part of what sucks about crappier LEDs and manufacturers, color is all over the place.
