Default resonator delete

I have seen several posts regarding resonator deletes and now I am more confused then when I started researching them. I just ordered A Corsa for my 2012 Platinum Supercrew Ecoboost. I am looking to remove the resonator and read that you can replace it with a 3 inch straight pipe or I also saw on here you can replace it with a ford OEM Exhaust Pipe (9L3Z5A212C) whoch is 2.3 inch i think.
are they the same pipe for all cab sizes?
where is the best place to get it?
should i just go to an exhaust ship and have one welded or spend the $85 from FORD?

thanks I am a newbie.

BLACK12 ... I dont know which wheelbase i have.
Check you window sticker.

Don't have one ...
Code:
http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  1. replace the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with your 17 character VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
  2. copy/paste the result to your brower's location input field.
  3. press the [ Enter ] key.
Failing that ... Got a tape measure? Know how to use it?

Open your driver's side door, and look for the sticker on the end. It should have your VIN along with your wheelbase.

To get your wheelbase take a tape measure and measure from the center of your rim on the front wheel and measure to the rear rim in the center.
