Default Resale Value

My 2010 king ranch has developed the dreaded rocker panel and cab corner rust. I am debating having it fix and to save some money I was considering having the body shop replace the metal then I would spray tentable U-POL Raptor Berliner on the bottom and bumpers of the truck. Truck with white and tan and I would match the Berliner to the tan. I have done this on a 1997 mountaineer but I wasn' worried about resale. I plan on keeping the truck for about 7 more years and it will probably have around 220k miles on it then. So what do you think, don' worry about resale and save some money or have the body shop paint it?

With 7 more years and about 220,000 miles I am pretty sure resale is going to be shot on a 2010 anyway. I wouldn't worry about it and get it done how you want.
