Definitely not OEM. OEM has f150 logo on the inside black part.

Like above said, those are not Oem. So you have two choices. Run a halogen bulb instead (light output will be pretty dim compared to what you had before), or find another Oem HID housing.

Or there is a third option. That’s to do a complete retrofit with new projectors, ballasts, bulbs, and igniter depending on what kit you run.

The third option js going to give you the absolute absolute best light output as long as it is done correctly.

Did you not have any output photos from seller? I’m curious what they were running.

No, these are the only pics I have from the seller.

I do not want to downgrade , so for me it would be options 2 and 3. I will keep looking for the correct housing type cuz I am not sure I am handy enough to do the 3rd option...

There is a seller that has exactly what I need but he wants $850 for the set.

https://appleton.craigslist.org/pts/...772188211.html

These are similar to your current housings. But the difference is he has already opened them up, placed an LED c bar switchback, and used the evox projectors. I would want better pics before purchasing, but these aren’t bad if you just need housings.

I just did a pretty quick search nationwide on tempest and didn’t come up with a lot. $800 tends to be the going minimum rate for these housings. If you are patient, you can find them for half the price or even less. But when I say patient, I mean it could be a month or two until you get lucky.

I would also check fb marketplace. I don’t use it, but I know a lot of guys who have had good luck on there.

Other option is to reach out to M3TOSVT on here. He does retrofits prettty often. I can’t remember what his prices were but I think they were around $800. At least with his stuff you know it’s top notch quality and don’t have to worry about getting screwed over.

Yeah they look like they are HIDs. Just not the factory OEM ones. I’d ask for the same thing I said in the PM. Night time output shots, switchback photos or video, and disclose any defects or noticeable damage. And if there is visual damage, I’d ask for photos of that

Those are factory STYLE HID lights, they are not OEM lights. Are they set up for the Factory Halogen lights or for factory HID lights? I do not know if those would be plug and play for you or not, you might need some additional connectors. My guess is they are set up to replace a set of factory equipped halogens.

They are not factory. I think he is clear on that now. However they have been set up to run HIDs since he did the evox projector retrofit. I’m unsure of the bulb type. That would be something you need to clarify. Also ask how many hours the bulbs have on them. Might be time to buy new bulbs if they are high hours
