replacing fuel pump control module
I just installed the new Fuel Pump Control Module and the truck still will not start. The only other thing that I can think of replacing is the fuel relay in the fuse box. Part of me is thinking the fuel pump has gone out, and I am going to have to tow the truck to a garage because I have no idea how to replace one. This is so frustrating. Looks like I will have to spend money that I don't have at the moment. Ugh. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. When I get this repaired, I'll be sure to update the thread with what I learned.
What happens when you try to start it with the new part? I see you mentioned code P0300. Mine P0300 was the MAF sensor. I cleaned it and the truck fired right up. Weird thing was it wouldn't fire up one day and then would the next.
In your case it would be cleaning the MAPs

Ferdinand f150, actually I kind of have a habit of cleaning the MAF, but thanks for the help. Yeah, I think this is going to be a tow to the garage.
The only other thing I can think of, the truck is still parked nose down on the tilted driveway. There is not a lot of gas in the tank. Maybe just under 1/4. If I were to get more gas in the tank, maybe that would help? But I know for a fact that I have had less gas in the tank and it started, and I was just able to get to the nearest gas station with 12 miles left to go according to the readout it gives you. It's my last option before having it towed.

Turns out that after changing the FPCM a couple times (which fixed the problem the first two times), my third "no start" was, seemingly, a very low gas tank on a 10° slanted driveway. Before calling the tow truck, I put 5 gallons of gas in it and it started right up. It's been starting immediately the past week or so. What a weird series of events. Seemingly 2 bad FPCMs, the 3rd FPCM was good, but the problem was low gas level on a slanted driveway. Go figure! I've been parking "normally" the past week, and in the future I will be keeping at least a half a tank of gas in it at all times. That's good practice for a few reasons. Thanks to everyone who posted for their time and help, and if I have any further fuel problems I'll update the thread. But I'm good to go for now. Cheers!
I was going to wait to reply until I changed out the FPCM but UPS is running late, and y'all have been so kind to reply so quickly.
At first, no codes. No check engine light. However, after cranking the engine over and over trying to get it to start I did get the light and some codes. One is a misfire code, P0300 but that I am 99.9% sure is because of the fuel system issue. It (my scanner app) even says that this code could be tripped because of a fuel supply issue. It is not a cylinder that is misfiring on its own, but rather no fuel is getting to the cylinders. The other two are P0627 (fuel pump "A" control circuit/on) and P0230 (ECM detected fault in fuel pump circuit). But I am HOPING that this is just another bad FPCM, which to my limited knowledge would explain those codes. I'll know when it get the new one, hopefully by this evening.
What is the fuse kit? Is that a kit that essentially bypasses the FPCM? I think I read that somewhere while researching, would love to know more about it, if I have my facts right. The little 20 amp fuse in the engine fuse box panel is A-OK. Relay seems to work fine. I even pulled the relay and fuse for a few hours and reinstalled, but truck did not start.
Wiring all seems legit. No corrosion that I can see, but of course hard to tell with insulation. It just looks normal. I also checked the ground on the FPCM just to be sure, it's all clean and looks good.
I will also try to find OEM part instead of replacing it over and over with Dorman parts. Last I checked online I couldn't find a Motorcraft part. I'll dig more.
