Replacing front bumper pad
Good morning all
I have a '13 ecoboost and would like to remove the license plate holder on the front bumper on the drivers side and replace it with a standard pad like the one on the passenger side.
Looks like just a couple screws holding it on but I'm wondering if a new pad will fit in the same space or is there any issue I need to be aware of.
Appreciate any thoughts.

If it is like the other side, 2 on my 5.0, there are tabs that need to be compressed for removal, from the back side. If re-using. My center Lic plate holder has 2 bolts and upper or lower tabs, as I recall.

My local FORD dealer here in Ontario wanted $78 for just one but I ordered a pair of them for $66 from the NAPA dealer and they'll be in this morning.
I was also surprised at how easily the old ones come off.
I couldn't get at the tabs from underneath the truck or even from behind them in front of the rad but I was able to get a screwdriver under one corner and pry it up a bit then with a bit of effort they just pop right out.

Note to anyone removing them, pinch the tabs that are accessible (there are 4 ish, but you can only get to 2) and then grab hold and rip it off the rest of the way. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and in my case all the tabs were intact.
