So the only items you lose with the XLT tow mirrors is memory and chrome caps?

And power fold. And if you had it, the automagic self-dimming function that was part of my 2012 Lariat Plus pkg. I try very hard to get where I'm going before dark, so I won't miss the self-dimming function.

No way would I tow that trailer with stock mirrors. You need the TTTM a lot more that I do for my 7x14.

I can't see how in the world you can see behind you at all with that size trailer and normal mirrors. I would guess you're blind behind you and taking chances.

Does the signal function on non-power fold tow mirrors work even if the truck came with the non-signal power mirrors? I was told the wire is included in the harness from the truck.

If you guys need a "how to" write up, I've done a few. Not for tow mirrors, but the disassemble/reassemble process is the same.

I've got the same thing, I'll get pictures when I can. Cheap and did the job I needed them to do.

I for one would appreciate instructions on removing the door panel. There're apparently more screws than the one in the arm rest and the 2 bottom ones. I've always been a klutz when it comes to the interior plastic panels.
Thanks in advance.
