Question Repeat Blower Motor Control Problems

Good evening. I have searched the forums in vain to try to find an answer to this problem. I am going on my 3rd Blower Motor Control Module (resistor) in the last 6 months. First was OEM on 2009 Lariat with about 135k. Blower would not run. Replaced with Motorcraft part from dealer in less than 10 mins and we were back up and running. Part lasted 2 months and died. Dealer replaced part under warranty. Replaced module in November (blowing fine then) and died again today!!! Am I to think that the Blower motor could be pulling too many amps and frying these control modules? I have a multimeter, but I am not skilled in using it. Should I replace the blower motor and the module together and see what happens? I think I can complete the repair myself, but I hate to keep throwing good money after bad when I can take it to the local wrench turner and have them diagnose it. Appreciate any insight you can provide.

My blower motor was replaced this fall for this same reason. On high speed it was pulling more than 30 amps.

Are you getting new or refurb parts, if they refurb this item?
