When I deleted the stripper pole I recall the camera being below a "wall" in the tailgate. At that time I wasn't interested in removing it, so I didn't investigate any further. I'd like to remove it now and after a search didn't see any info. I'm assuming it needs to be unbolted from inside the tailgate.

Not telling why I need it off, at least not yet.

 

Think I've half figured it out. The emblem needs to be popped off the bezel. This will reveal the screws holding it in. The issue now is popping the emblem off, unsure if it's possible without breaking the tabs.

 

I broke mine taking it off. If I had to do it again I would fish some thing long and flat behind the badge, maybe a hacksaw blade with the smooth edge facing up, just below center and then slowly slide it up to try and release the tabs without snapping them. Not sure if it's possible but that looked like the only way once I had it apart.
