I was just wondering what the best way is to remove the sticker on the tail gate. I have access to a heat gun and thought about trying that.

Yup, just get it warm and it will come off very easy with your fingernail or even just rubbing your thumb/finger against it if you have tough hands. if there is still some residue, some goo gone works good, or even just windex if only a little bit.

just use a blow dryer, heat it up, i keep my hand close to it to judge if its getting to hot, and start peeling it off at a edge. if there is sticky stuff left over just rub it off with your thumbs or use goo gone.
