i have the dealer installed remote start on my 09 truck.is there a way to set it up to start it with a key in the switch?

 

no you cant start it with the key in it but you can leave it running if its started .
push start button till it honks and pull out key. if they un wire the key in sense wire it will start with a key in it but you will lose your stay run feature.but with a key in it it may read two pats codes and wont start some times.and it wont start with the key on

 

you would think if my wifes dodge van would do it a ford truck could do it.oh well,so be it.
