Default Remote start with keypad?

Have a 2012 F150 that does not have remote start or the integrated keypad. However, I added the Ford stick on keypad which works like another key fob. I now want to add the 100 series remote start. Does anyone know if there will be compability issues here?

The reason I ask is my fiancé just bought a 2014 Escape and had the remote start added to it at the dealer. We then tried to add that same stick on keypad but apparently they are not compatible on that model.

No compatibility issues at all, you will have to have the dealer activate the remote start before it will work. Also need to have both keys cut and programmed.

My wife has a 14 Escape as well and the system in her truck is a lot different than what's in our trucks.

You can go to www.accessories.ford.com to see what is compatible with each vehicle.

Like Rnl said, there Won't be any issues! I added the oem Keyless Keypad a Handle to my 12 xlt, and the 100 series R.S. Start, both Work Great!

Only issue is they're not True Plug N Play, Most dealers screw you by charging 40-60$ for Enabling the Functions!!!
