In other words, remote start your truck, wait a few seconds, do it again, and it will run for 15+15. you can only use this trick once, after 30 min the truck will shut down, lights will flash, doors will flap frenetically and eventually the truck will explode. or so i read on the internet anyway, so it must be true.
That end part was funny, didn't expect the last few lines haha

On really cold days I start it right away when I wake up, have my coffee and breakfast and 15 mins before I leave I restart it

Ok some may differ but in the options make sure your " quiet start " is OFF. Before you put the key in you will notice the engine rpms never go lower then 1000. As soon as you put the key in then it will lower the rpms to normal. With quiet start on then your truck will start and idle down as normal. Moral to the story is make sure it's off and it warms up faster being at a 1000 rpms the entire 15 minutes.

This ford does seem to warm up better though. The locker room and control room are far away from the parking lot so it's a PITA to start it after I change clothes, not to mention I could get in trouble walking around in street clothes. Sometimes it will start from the engineering offices but if it doesn't I have to go for a walk. At home is no big deal because I park in an insulated garage.
Sounds like your a boiler operater?
