I don't think the remote access is capable of sending you security details. If I'm not mistaken I think it's strictly start, stop, lock, un-lock. But yes I removed the jumper wire as my truck already had the hood switch etc that was needed for security

Actually the system does send security alerts. In the settings on the app you can add a phone number to send you a text alert or an email address. Here is what it looked like tonight when I tested and got the text message maybe 5 seconds after alarm was triggered.
