I was concerned with the amount of trimming that may have to be done on the dash. It is totally possible that no trimming would have to be done as well.

I have the 2 LEDs on the tray like the OP did however the LED's are pretty dim. even if I were to have one LED, I want them to be a little brighter when blinking. there's a few other Ford's in the parking lot of my apartment and they're LED's are pretty bright. i'm thinking of going with different LEDs.

I bought a 3 different sets of LEDs on superbrightleds.com and ebay. hopefully I should have them sometime late next week and we'll see how they look.

does anyone know about resistors and adding them to each LED to make them a little brighter?

I'm only using one and it's very dim. Really can't even see it through the tint.

the weather here has been pretty crappy so I haven't been able to mess with anything lately. I got some LED's in that I bought to try out. I was hoping the one on the right would work better because of the installation. it would fit pretty perfect because of the hole I drilled for the stock LED. it turns out that LED was pretty dim compared to the LED on the right. when I added 2 LED's, it dimmed a good amount. the LED on the left is the one ill be using because it's very bright which is what I want. The only issue I have is installing it without having to make the hole bigger. the other LED was too big and bulky. I have the LED's waiting to dry with the epoxy I used last night. hopefully everything holds right because it doesn't quite sit flush. I need to figure out a better way to mount them.

it was pretty bright when I had them both in, I like it. I only wish I could use the same housing the stock LED came in to use it for this LED. it came with a housing the go into the current hole but the size isn't quite right. we'll see how it holds when I get home tonight. I'll finish the install tomorrow.
