I realize this is somewhat after the fact but I just bought an 09 and swapped in my08 so I changed threads. Anyway, the perfect solution is a Dash Mat fromm Dash King. It's custom molded and cut to fit your dash. It comes in either velour or carpet. For me, it's an essential as I've used them on every whcicle I've ever owned. They can be ordered online from Whitney or locally at Advance Auto or Auto Zone and cost in the $39.95 range. Can be ebroidered with your initials if you like.

I'm fine with tinted windows - tinting your entire windshield is illegal in most states and likely to get you pulled over. To reduce glare you can have the top part tinted though which is generally OK.
