You can refinance at any time. I did immediately. Took roughly a week for all the paperwork to transfer. Was told 3 payments as well but that is simply not true.

The reasons I want to is because looking for better rate and keep my money local. Was always told by dad, buy local when you can. That way if there is a problem you can go to the place and see the people in person

you were either lied to or misinformed - the finance guy just doesn't get his kickback if the truck is refinanced within the first three months (as confirmed by my salesman and also in the paperwork. There is nothing in the paperwork that says you cannot refi)

I was preapproved by DCU for 1.24 before I purchased my truck. – ford offered me 6% (joke) and I took it for the $1000.00 incentive knowing i would refi the very next day through DCU at 1.24. ford sent me a check for $25.00 for early payoff.

Don’t walk – run to refi - ‘Nuff said

O man did I **** off the dealership....started the financing process through Ford....because I was told was how I would "Qualify" for all the Great rebates....thing is I was already pre-qualified through my credit union?!
So.....it was late...."ok just do it!"
Next morning went back in and re did the deal (cause this... pay Ford a HIGH Interest Rate for 3 month then refinance)..sounded sort of like...well...robbery (Good for Ford!)
Man....the Finance Dept. was ("trippin") all over themselves .
Somebody lost their SPIF!
Also....asked for the Dealership Manager to deal directly with.....not the 19 year old sales person.

Usually ....they tell you, right in the Finance Office ....that you can and should refinance if you can?....especially if you can get a better interest rate!
