Recommended Tonneau Covers
I have had a tonneau cover on my past 3 Fords. The past 2 were hard top type, Snug Top and ******* both were good but a pain if you need to haul something big. My current one on my 1 month old truck is a Undercover Flex tri fold. So far it is a great cover but in freezing rain it freezes to the tailgate and makes it hard to open it up. But is great when needing to haul large items. Plus it sit flush with the rails.
Hey guys,
I have an inventory of F150 Bakflip tonneau covers that are fully functional and look completely normal on the top but have a small scratch or dent on the underside.
These covers aren't returnable but they're at a great price.
Email brian@truckimage.com or PM me to see if we have some for your bed size.

Even if you don't want a 'blemished' one, bakflip is pretty popular
NOTE: I guess this didn't link to the original post so maybe somebody else can help out, or if you go to the search box and put in blemished bakflip it'll bring up the thread

I have a BAKflip HD. Very happy. Low profile. Easy to install. I suggest you do a search on YouTube - take a look at some of the tonneau cover videos and decide from there. I got mine from Amazon - good price, fast, free shipping.

I had a soft rollup cover years ago and hated it in winter. The cold vinyl was awful to roll up and snap.
For past 10 years have a hard trifold and I really like it. A few problems like the rubber seal over the hinges has failed and the rubber covers over the locks have fallen off from sun deterioration. (NY State) Read the warranty carefully. Some require you to buy and use their protectant stuff or no warranty.
If you get a solid cover make sure you always snap on the straps to hold the cover open otherwise the wind will lift it and slam it closed.

Undercover edge makes a great product thats durable and very streamline. Purchased my truck and cover up in Ak before I moved to Florida this last Sept. 6.5K miles later its doing just fine. Its does very good in all types of weather. I would say its a little bit of an *** pain in freezing weather as the rubber can freeze to the bed. Not the end of the world but the only neg if there is one. Also it doubles as a headache rack when you fold it up.

I went with a Bak G2, I've had it in for 3 years and it's great.
It sits flush to rails.
It's 99% waterproof! I keep stuff back their all year around.
I can flip some or all sections to fit cargo. This is great when you go buy something you hadn't planned on, just flip it up against the back window and you have access to the whole bed!
They are not as easy to get into as people think. If a thief wants something they will get it, lock or not. When closed and tailgate locked it is a tight seal.
If you need to remove it entirely then it takes a couple minutes and you're done.
They are a little more cost wise but I believe in you get what you pay for. There are several different Bakflip models, the G2 is in the middle range.
The big question when I was looking for mine was what I expected from it and how I wanted it to interact with my trucks and future loads.
