Had my stream light mounted in the rear pillar. Ran the cigarette power under the carpet and plugged into the 12v port. Worked great and was always charged and ready for patrol

For what it's worth, I prefer a headlamp for a trucklight. They take up very little room and you have both hands open. Just a thought.

Already have one of those for the up close working on truck or anhd stuff camping but don't throw light for distance that a good hand held flash light will get you
