i just saw on the news there is a recall on the 09 to 10 windows...?? anyone know what thats about

 

haven't seen anything about windows, but threads have been posted about the spring in the door handle recall a few times already

 

most of the time when recalls come out. the companies like to notify the public before the dealers. chrysler loves to do this and i get phone calls all the time with people saying they saw a recall on xxxx year car. and half the time i tell them idk anything about it yet. also the recalls are vin generated and not every car is covered. so you might just wanna call the dealer and see if they know anything and have them run you VIN through the ford site and see if anything comes up

 

Register your truck on flmowner.com and you can check for recalls yourself. Mine is not part of the recall at this point.

 

My 2010 XLT is not part of this recall either.

 

I work at a ford dealer and I have never heard of this recall. There is a recall for the door handle springs.
