I'm seeing only $500 more for a 2012 Screw XLT than the 2013 yet my salesman states I get $6000 + $500 for 5.0L for the 2012 but only $4000 for the 2013. He's not trying to clear left overs as I'd have to get a dealer trade to find the truck I want.

What's the deal with the rebates?
