Default Rear Wheel Liners

Are there a big difference between the Ford rear wheel liners and the after market ones sold at dealers such as TrickTrucks?

The ford ones are only around $120 for a factory fit. Doesn't seem that bad for something you know will fit right.

Dont remember the other brand, maybe deezee! But they run like $85. Plus they cover a little more than the Ford version as well!

RuggedLiner on eBay for $89.95 shipped. They fit like a glove and offer more coverage than the OEM Ford ones.

I really like these, but I wonder if they are a potential trap for moisture, road salt, mud, grime, etc. that could lead to future rust issues? Am I completely wrong in my thinking? Heck, if I am, these will be next on my list.

Yes your thinking is most likely right! Only instead of having nothing where you can see the rust or rock chips! It'll be hidden by the liners! All these are, is a bolt on bedliner for your fender wells! So yeah I see rust in anyone's future if these are installed!

Rugged liners are very nice and cover very well, plus they are made 10 miles from me.

I haven't seen it, that would be pretty nice. If you cared you would have to find a different way to hide the gap between the bed and frame. It would sure make for easy cleaning. Hell, go all the way.

(Not me, lol)
