Default Rear view camera help.

Hi All,

I have a 2013 XLT 4x4 screw off-road with the rear view camera monitor in the rear view mirror. Does anyone know how to make it turn on without being in reverse. Maybe add a switch on the dash. I would like to check on my trailer hitch while driving down the highway. It would be nice if they added “always on” to the camera menu.

Thanks for your help.

No it cannot be selected "always on", it may be possible to modify the as built data and reprogrammed but not without great effort.

Best bet is to install an aftermarket reverse cam such as this http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c...aspx?a=1537735
