Default Rear suspension creeking. Losing my mind! Help please!!

So for about the last month now, every time I get in my bed to grab something, or happen to stand on the rear bumper, or even pull into a arking lot, my rear suspension has a creeking noise. It has become increasingly annoying as time progresses.

I have washed all the rear shock mounts and bushings, as well as the leaf springs and bushings also. It barely creeks after that, but with in a few hours, the noise comes back. I also used WD-40 and same results.

I was just at the dealer Thursday for an oil change, and told the service guy about the problem. He said he would look into it. I dropped it off at 9:30 and by 2:30, they hadn't called. So I went to pick it up about 2:45 and the service guy said they washed it out good, used WD-40, and then some silicone based lubricant for RV's that works well. Even that didn't work. I was told that I'd probably have to leave my truck for a day for them to trouble shoot, which I don't mind doing, I'd just rather not.

Anyone had/have the same issue or a guess on what it could be? Thanks!

Been having this "problem" as well. Sounds like it's the leaf springs but I haven't been able to pinpoint it.

Have had the same issue; *sometimes* the noise is the lighter tailgate rattling around, but I know what you're talking about as I've had it too. I'll get around to taking care of it eventually.

My old truck had this and it ended up being the bushings on the rear shackles. It was a slight creak under any weight or on occasional bumps like pulling out of driveways.

That's what I figured was bushings. Just can't find where.

Yeah check the bushings on the shackles at the end of the leaf springs if you haven't yet. Good luck! Hopefully you can pinpoint it.

I've already WD-40'd it. It quits for a few hours and that's it.

Make sure you lube up both rear shock mounts where they attach to the truck (all 4 points). This is what ONE of my squeaks ended up being.....
