Default Rear end compatability

Anyone know if I can swap a 2008 F150 4X4 (9.75 ring gear) complete rear axle, to a 2011 F150 4X4 (9.75 ring gear) rear axle?

I know 2011 has rear ABS sensors but will not connect/matter will it?

thanks

Rockauto says that calipers are the same from 2004 through 2011. You can use their compatibility charts to get an idea about other parts too.

Leaving ABS disconnected seems like a bad idea though.

Perhaps what you should look into is how much of the stuff from the 2011 9.75 will swap over to the 2008 9.75.

I'm curious - what are you trying to gain with this swap?

Thank you gents. Appreciate the feedback. Makes sense to what could swap over.
See some years ago, I got rear ended at a stand still. They plowed under my hitch, bent up my left tailpipe. Ford pulled frame straight and changed leafs and other stuff. But my truck has since had this little hop, I can see left corner of my truck bed and hear drone on left rear. Free spin rear off ground but nothing jumps out. Tires ok, I've changed outer axle bearings. Axle shaft drive left replaced (came of a 2011 4x4). But no dice. Since donor was in such good shape/way less miles and gear oil was like clear honey. I figured why not swapped it all and rule out tubes and all. So that's the long story.
