that would be cheap and easy but how well will a sheet hold up, will it keep water off the seats, will claws puncture it? I have no xp on this so I am asking very seriously.

The 2-barrel Utility Mat wins a Gray’s Best Award!! See the write up featured in volume 34 issue 7 of Gray’s Sporting Journal. Click here to read the article in our MR News Section!

The Mud River team spends countless hours with our dogs in the field and traveling to and from events. This probably comes as no surprise, but we do not always have our dogs in a kennel. We designed the 2 Barrel not only as an alternative travel option for our friends but to keep your vehicle clean from dirty dogs, muddy boots, or hunting buddies.
  • Construction: The two sided utility mat comes with one side covered in lightweight canvas and the other covered in 410 Nylon. We filled the mat with MicroLite2 insulation to assure your friend travels in comfort.
  • 4 D-Rings and 4 adjustable straps allow for a custom fit
  • Cleaning and care made easy- just spray or wipe off with water and lay out to allow for self drying
  • Dimensions: 68L x 56W

These are GREAT seat cover's by Mud River! My dad takes his retriever (2 yr old Flat-Coated Retriever) and new puppy(6 month old Flat-Coat) out pheasant hunting and covers his back seats with this in his 08 Tundra. He also has one seat cover for the passenger seat. A great product that is easy to take on/off, plus cleanup is a breeze..

I have a f-i50 s-crew with cloth seats. Of course I keep my dogs nails trimmed but not as regular as I should. Having said that I have not had any trouble with seat tears. No it is not waterproof but when it comes time to clean it, I simply throw it in the washer. Haven't wore out a sheet yet and when I do a new sheet doesn't cost much. I guess if being water proof is the main consideration then a sheet isn't the answer However if just protecting the back seat is what your after then a sheet is easy to clean and cheap! I am using a queen size and have lots of excess to cover the seat well. Not a pretty as the cover that is being talked about but it works.

If that mud river cover came it black i would be on it like a fat guy on a cup cake but, i think in my black FX4 it will just stand out too much. The sheet answer is sounding better and better.

I'm looking for something to just cover the single rear seat. I leave that one down, both because the dogs like to sit up on it and watch and also because the subwoofer is underneath, so there is no additional room to be gained by raising it. But I raise the double seat to get tha additional floor room.

You don't need an alarm with those two sitting in the back!

They also make one called "shotgun" for a single seat. It would work good for your deal!! best of luck!
