Check out the pics of my 09 with the full Recon smoked light collection. I am happy with how they look and the relatively easy instillation. Great improvement in light compared to the factory parts too.

I installed the Recon 3rd break light and really like the look. The one thing I noticed was the gasket is twice as thick as the stocker. I was one of the lucky ones that experienced the flood of water from the 3rd break light leak. So it was a good opportunity to apply a liberal coat of clear RTV along with the thicker gasket to make sure the leak issue never happens again.

Just a heads up. Ford has patented its electrical connectors and Recon cannot reproduce a match. You will have to tap into the existing wiring or do like I did. Cut the wires and remove the connector altogether, do an old fashioned splice job and be done with it. I little shrink wrap and a liberal amount of electrical tape and as long as the wires stay dry (and they will now) and are kept out of the weather they will last the life of the truck.
