If i was you, i'd go with the crappy fuel problem - how many gallons have you used? I assume it was 87 you filled up with?

You can start adding premium to it, but it could be a while depending on how much of the crap gas you have left in the tank. I'd also suggest some fuel stabilizer and maybe some octane booster for now.
Whatever you to, try to mitigate your driving to avoid the noise, it's damaging to the engine, it does/can compensate for low octane fuel, but if it's really bad, there is only so much it can do, hence you're still experiencing it.

I have stabil in it currently but seems to only be getting worse. It finally popped a code and it is P2196 which I believe is the O2 sensor stuck rich… I’m assuming this could be due to the bad fuel? It’s running absolutely awful at this point from start up to the whole truck vibrating while driving. I think I’m going to drain the tank as much as possible and fill it with 93 and yes it was filled with 87 and always is.

Yeah, every post you make pushes it more and more towards crappy fuel.

Sorry man, that sucks, especially with current gas prices, even if you were ripped off - stabil will only help one part of the issue, there might even be a ton of water in it, the system is trying it's best to compensate, it's just not gonna happen. I would try and run at least two consecutive tanks of premium once you've got what you can out of the tank, just to get things settled back in again and help the fuel trims stablise - also, it does run a little nicer on premium, even the first gen engine we have.

Contact the station - they should make it right. It some states, they are legally obligated to cover any damages caused by bad gas they served up. For example, in Texas:

First off I’d like to say thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on this thread! Really appreciate it! I do believe it is bad fuel. It seems as though all the issues I was having have come to a dead stop… no noise, no shuddering, no trouble starting. The weird part is it’s still the same fuel in the truck… never had time to drain it… my theory is after a day or 2 the stabil finally treated all the fuel. I could be wrong but seems to make sense to me. I’m going to list all of the issues I experienced below in the event some one else runs into the same problem and hopefully it’ll help out.

It's possible, your tank is mostly full, and dumping the little bottle in the tank is not going to mix it easily with so much fuel, glad it's stopped playing up now - i would still recommend your next tank is a top tier gas station and premium, just to get things cleaned out (it's usually better cleaners in premium as well as helping that octane issue)

Maybe even run a couple E85. Alcohol is a great cleaner.

My truck makes this same sound and I cannot figure out what it is. Only when accelerating does it make that noise.

after I ran that fuel out it hasn’t made it since. I’m not sure what exactly makes the sound but I’m confident the culprit in my situation was bad fuel. Haven’t had another problem.
