I agree with Smoky. I feel the truck is overkilled with boredom. Im all about black/white contrast, thats why I have a white fx4. But the stripes/plati on the hood are too much, only time I feel stripes on a truck are appropriate is if the truck will outrun a Bugatti... and that's even pushing it. If you want some black on your hood, The only part I would consider trying would be the center indention of the hood, maybe. As for the fender flares, I wouldn't put them in my truck unless i had a radical offset and wide rubbers.... If you are keeping stock wheels and getting bigger tires, maybe try 2 inch adapters 34x12.5 muddy rubbers...

I normally don't comment on anybody's vehicle, but because you asked, I stated my opinion.

I'm sure it gets attention, perhaps not the kind you're looking for.

I think your truck being a business truck it should stand out and it does big time!....its not what I would pick for a white truck

My idea of a white truck would be more white with black accents (trim, box cover, pillars) and then id through in some chrome or black wheels or vise versa, partial chrome grill just the middle. but hey thats just me.....I still have 2 all black vehicles so I went chrome this time, and wanted a color change.

If you were to look at Desert Dawg's trucks you would see what i mean white with some class, but thats a personal touch not a business side of things......

I don't like the chrome on the mirrors, top of the mirror would been ok if you had chrome on your truck, but no chrome its out of place!

it looks better then it did thats for sure!

I can see where you guys are coming from and I do appreciate the feedback. Personally I like the stripes but can see growing out of them eventually in which case i can take them off, that's why I did it all in vinyl. So racing stripes aside, were looking alright provided I get myself some a/t tires next week?

Wheels and tires.

To go that far on mods it looks kinda silly with stock wheels.

For business purposes, I think it stands out and looks much better than before.

As a personal vehicle, it is not what I would do for my driveway. But again, it is doing what you intended...generate emotion so folks will remember it.

I have a next-door neighbor who owns a Nutisystem franchise here in town, and he has a Superduty monster truck with Nutrisystem graphics all over (must be a 20-inch lift). He also owns a Lotus, Porsche, and Range Rover so is obviously use to getting attention...lol. The truck is hideous looking and is nothing more than a rolling billboard (luckily he tries to keep it parked on the side of his house). I would not do that to my personal vehicle, but he sure gets a lot of attention and folks remember seeing it.

I can see that some of you are getting it. Again, this is more of a business truck than anything. These are some examples of the type of vehicles at the trade shows and jobsites I'm at. I'm guessing you guys wouldn't have rated these very high either and neither would have I for that matter. I could have spent more money and wrapped my truck like these but I figured I would go a different route and add some mods to the truck instead. I designed the truck to get noticed but I also don't want to look like a douche either, that's why I was looking for the feedback.

If you post a thread about people's opinions, don't get your crap in a knot when people don't like it. I've seen people that don't like my stock FX4 because it's stock. It's not fair to us to yell at us when you get criticized. Now that that is over with...

It looks better. Still too busy for me (especially the chrome on the mirror) but it does look better. Keep the progress coming!

As a business truck, I'd be pretty pleased with it. Current wheels and all. Upgrading the wheels and tires would be icing on the cake, but nothing overkill. After all, it is a business truck and needs to be functional for your work in the city.

Oh, and see about blacking out the white paint in the rear wheel wells.

And you really need to get your website up and running. Then put footprintwoodstone on your truck so people can find the site. A potential customer is going to want to check out your site for samples of your work.
