Raptor grill on 2011 FX4 Picture!

I have circled where the cuts start. From those circles outward, they cut the hood. You can tell as the gap is not uniform from there on out. Really to make it look right they either needed to put a raptor hood on or do some body work to continue to hood straight across between the headlights. Just putting that trim piece up there would have still looked horrible. Either way it looks horrible. A great example of laziness.
On that note, you were right on when you said that the grill needed to be level with the headlights.
I did find one on ebay for much less than the $1800

I see where it was cut, that's still considered part of the grille assembly, I agree it looks bad, a while back I think I saw the raptor grille for $600 on tasca

Does anyone know of someone who sells or fabricates a custom adaptor for attaching the Raptor grille to a regular F150 hood? I would like one.

I am all for a retrofit when whatever you're fitting actually FITS! Even if it is not something I would personally do, I can appreciate the work that goes into to other people's projects. But this? What a pi$$ poor job! The cuts on the hood at each end of the grille are not straight. I think there are much better alternatives out there.
