OP Thanks for the update As a long time customizer I like what you are doing. I may be interested in one for my '10 Lariat but I am a cheapskate. Is your plan is to use the OEM Raptor grille? I never priced one but I assume they are expensive. I was hoping you were making a reproduction.

On that dealer install, the hood has been cut and there is a filler piece below the grill. Sounds like the Metalist is trying to avoid that. If he can pull it off it should look great!

yeah i agree it would look much better if it did line with the headlights and not have the lower part of the stock grill , i guess the dealer is doing it the easy way

found this in the photos section. looks similar to the red one posted...obviously hes not finished but looks like he is having to make a filler for the hood.

I don't think they cut the hood as you say. I think they cut the grille. The top 3 inches off the stock grille surround and used that as the filler panel to join stock hood to the Raptor grille.

Funny thing is I was planning on doing the same thing. Except I'd be going flat black to Match other mods. I was thinking maybe paint the entire thing black and the ford lettering in Oxford white. Seems like itd be more unique and stand out more

Oops talking about different grille, I'm talking about McNeill.
