I was in my buddies truck with the Roush exhaust but it's to loud and very droney in the cab.
Roush is loud and still puny. I went the route I did as it was about the only 3.5" kit around. Corsa is even worse lol. Even the Super Duty has 3.5" exhaust on the 6.2. The MBRP is not loud either... it's a milder kit with a resonator as well as a muffler. If you are not increasing tubing size however you will gain nothing beyond noise. Even then the gains are more limited until you add headers to the mix. The stock exhaust chokes the 6.2 more than the 5.0 liter.

If you remove the resonator and increase the flow with a bigger exhaust, it will resonate. The resonator.... works. Go figure.

If you find Roush too loud and droney, then it will be hard for you to find one that you like. It's among the milder ones. You probably need to stay away from Flowmaster and Borla, and probably go Magnaflow. There might be a combination there that give you what you are looking for. Best bet is to search YouTube for sound clips. One guy replaced the resonator with a glass pack and also replaced the muffler. He got the sound he was looking for with no drone.

Also, bear in mind if you go a CAI route, that will impact your sound.

I have a flowmaster 50 series with a dynomax bullet in front of it and it drones. Sounds good other than 1600 rpm.

Thanks for the info
I have the Roush CAI on it now and it's loud when you step on it but I like it.

Will the factory Raptor exhaust make a difference with sound or performance?
I'm looking for cold hard facts as I can get one for $100 new. I don't care about twin tips or looks just after better sound and performance.

Oops, misread the CAI part as Roush exhaust instead...

I have MBRP exhaust, BBK throttle body,Airaid CAI and 5* tune, normal driving I have no drone. When I open her up it sounds so good. I also just got back my Stainless Steel Works LT headers back from ceramic coating.
