Random notifications that go away
So a couple months ago I got a notification on my truck (2011 F-150 ecoboost 3.5 super crew cab) and I forgot exactly what it said, something along the lines of “tire pressure system fault” or something like that. All my tires were aired up to where then need to be so I didn’t worry about it. It showed up 2 times and then never saw it again. Well a week or so ago I started my truck and out of the blue I get 2 notifications, one saying “check brake system” and another saying “service advancetrac”, along with my ABS light and parking brake light on. Every other time I started my truck for 2 days those popped up, then went away. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this just a faulty computer system? I’ve checked the parking brake assembly, my rotors, brake pads, everything I could think of and it all works just fine. Thanks for any advice.
I've been getting the occassional TPS failure error ever since I switched to 35's. My first set were brand new Motorcraft sensors and supposedly all failed after a month when the warning wouldn't go away. None of them could be found by the TPS scanner/programmer used by Discount Tire, so they replaced all of them with aftermarket sensors. Ever since then, I get the occassional errors that eventually go away. Irritating definitely, but I haven't mustered the energy to track it down.
But I've never seen any of the other errors you are getting...
