Did that. Just one wasn't turned the correct direction. Seems like that happens a lot. When you put the strut together you don't have a reference to orient the ****. It's no big deal to turn it to the right spot. It was only about 40* off not 180*.

Are there any part number on the shocks themselves? I double checked the part numbers on the box but not on the shock. I can't find any with them mounted on the truck..

Where are you guys buying these quicklifts? I had seen them with a few online vendors but cannot seem to find them currently.

It sure does seem like you got 2 of the same side. I have these installed on my truck no problems at all and installed them myself in the driveway in about an hour.

I bought my first set on Amazon pretty cheap, but the boxes were opened and some hardware was missing. They worked out great though. There is a set on EBay for $525 including the rear shocks. I'm getting mine at 4Wheel Parts this time.
Good news is Rancho is offering a $120 rebate on the right now.

At the time we both just contributed the noise to be more intense due to it being such a quiet truck. Today, I completely checked over the suspension to make sure I had no binding/rubbing and found that one of the shocks is installed in a different orientation than the other (one of the ride adjusters is facing out and one is facing in). Could this possible be an issue? Seems like the shocks would work the same either way? I will talk to the mechanic next week but he is on vacation until the end of the week.
You have the right shocks, do not worry. I just got these myself a couple of weeks ago. I had the same thought so I called Rancho. I was informed by them that they do actually face the same direction. I have a 2010 and on the passengers side, the adjuster faces out towards the back of the tire. On the drivers side, the adjuster faces in towards the engine. Therefore both are facing to my right when I am sitting in the drivers seat. Like you I got new tires and an alignment as well. When I went for the alignment, the guy at the shop came back in about 5-10 minutes, said everything was perfect and no adjustments were needed to the front end. He didn't even charge me a dime for any of that work. After that I felt very comfortable that all was good and there was no longer a need to worry.

Forgot to say - I got mine at my4by.com for $523 shipped to my door. I purchased them on 2/22 so now I am pissed that I missed out on the $120 prepaid visa card. May try to get it still.

That's strange. The shocks on my 2010 both faced outwards.
