Default Rancho 6" Experience & Pic Request

I just recently learned that it is possible to use Rancho's 4" system with 17" wheels. I assume the 6" would work too since most of the components are the same. Would this be true? Thoughts?

Anyone have any experience with Rancho's 6" lift? Like many, I'm torn between 4" and 6".

Does anyone have pics of a 4" lift next to a 6" lifted truck?

I've searched, but was unable to find what I was looking for

Thank you!

Both kits can utilize 17" wheels. You can buy the 4" kit and utilize your 2" readylift to get 6" pretty sure

This is true. Rancho's kit 4in Lift is actually a 5in Lift. I've had many people confirm this by measuring their stock height from the hub to the fender and then measuring hub to the fender after the lift was installed. That's why I went with the kit, well one of the reasons. 1. I can run my 17s I have now and just up the size to a 35 once these tires wear out. 2 The kit is actually a 5in lift.

Rancho's 6in kit was literally just released. It's new to their site and the market.

So, does anybody know what the difference is between the two kits?

Where does the additional lift come from in the 6" kit?

The lift comes from the 7000 series monotube replacement strut nothing else is different .

Thank you, Gonkey. Yes, I was doing some research and it appears that replacement strut RS7833 provides the additional lift over the standard 4" kit.

Does this strut utilize the stock coil spring or does it come with new?

It uses orig springs that have to be swapped out .
