Radio Shortcoming
I wish I could program my stock 2011 XLT radio to continuously scan only the 3 satellite radio banks without having to manually switch between them.
Having to jump through 7 different sources every time I want to check my 30 preprogrammed satellite stations is total bs!
Ford failed on this one. (unless there's a way to do this that I haven't figured out?)
My old GMC allowed me to do this.

I feel your pain, I actually want to eliminate the Sirius sources altogether since I do not have a subscription. When I hit a sirius source a pop up on the NAV system says to call to activate and it delays me from going to the next source.
My last car was also a GM and it was great having XM, FM, and AM presets all mixed together.

RE: Stock XLT radio.
Workarounds by their very nature are an inconvenience. But, I just use the source buttons rather than the media button on the wheel. It isn't so bad. Yes, I know this doesn't really help I'm just commiserating.

This saves having to go through the line-in, am, & 2 fm sources every time.
