Yeah. But some guys on here we're saying that they still have the issue, even at warm temps. Guess I won't know if it's fixed for sure till next winter. One can only hope.

Mine is still giving me the message and the temps have been in the 80's and some 90's already. I don't believe temperature has an effect on this. I even turned off ALL of the comfort settings except for the Auto headlamps. I even considered the auto headlamps because I park inside my garage and the lights turn on and stay on for twenty seconds after the key is removed, but I get the message in a wide open parking lot during the day. I will add that I have a '13 that was bought in October of '12. She only has 7,700 miles on it. I drive it on weekends some times, some not. It has never failed to start though and the longest I have let it sit without starting the engine is about three weeks. I quit that practice and now start it at least weekly. I have even noticed the message when I start it up and not just on the cut off.

On mine temp has nothing to do with it. The message at startup seems to perhaps be a carryover from the shutdown message. If I shut mine off and don't give it time to display I don't see the carryover msg.

Hey gang,

If you haven't already, bring your trucks into your dealerships so they can inspect. Once you have a diagnosis, feel free to reach out to me via PM if you need my assistance. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealership info so I can check out ways to help.

Exclamation

Agreed. If I don't see if when I turn off to get out, I don't see it when I get back in the next day to go to work. STRANGE.

I had mine on the charger 2 days ago. Battery charged to 100%. No messages yet.... i'll see how long it takes.

I'm thinking software glitch. I didn't have this issue on my 2013 5.0 XL with the two line blue displays.

Thanks Crystal. I am just dealing with the message for now. I don't really sit in mine after I have turned the key off. It will become a problem if it quits starting. I am following this thread to watch for the ones having more serious issues and waiting for the fix to be found.

Never paid attention to that but it makes perfectly good sense that the message would carry over. I find it amazing that the truck is smart enough to tell you that I am saving your battery and if I didn't finish telling you that, then I will tell you again. The kicker is that it is NOT smart enough to tell you what is broken.

At this point I would guess 98% of the people with Battery Saver Alert problems have gone to the dealer multiple times with no results other than getting their battery replaced which doesn't solve the problem.

They had mine for 2 weeks and was turned loose with no resolve. Even 'Lisette' doesn't call me with updates. Nice.
