The longest I've gone without getting it is about 2 weeks. Otherwise it has been all time. I can't use any accessories that require key in that position unless the engine is running. Doesn't matter whether I drive the truck 10 minutes or 4 hours at a time.

Default Damn Modern Stuff!

My 2011 4X4 Lariat just started this, damn! Friday morning i hit the remote start and nothing...but akot of clicking from the fusr box!.
After I got it jumped it ran fine all day. First I though it might be a connection issue, so I cleaned the termanals. worked fine for two days...then dead again! so I got a jump and went to work. The truck started in the afternoon and I took it strait to Advantage Auto.
Installed a new battery. This morning I still have the message on the LCD screen about the battery saver. And I also have an engine light on the dash cluster. My SCT Tuner is suppose to be in today, so maybe I can read the code. The morning that it first wouldnt start the odometer was at exactly 67,000 miles. So the next step it to replace the relays, and check the altanator wires. As I sit here I remember that just 4 days ago I installed a new AEM drop in air filter, and as this was the first time I have messed with the air box tubes, I might have looseend something. I will check that this afternoon. I cant take it to a dealer...I work out of town and have no way to drop it off and then get to work and then go pick it up.

I haven't had the message in the two days after I stopped using the remote start. I'll try it today using the remote start. I'm just grasping at straws here.....

Been reading this since it started.
I don't have this issue, except for the first time I drove it home from the dealer.
I picked it up and only drove about 15 mins back to my house. It was late, so when I shut it off to accessory to check things out, it did the low battery thing.
Went to work in the am, a good 40 minute drive and haven't seen it since, with now 3000 miles and 0°-35° temps.
So I'm guessing the battery was slightly discharged from however long it sat.
Seems like maybe its overly sensitive to a slightly discharged battery, but at the same time, It's killed other batteries multiple times.
Idk, just thought I'd add my experience in hopes they find the culprit.

I was having this issue with my battery this winter. I found it came on after the wife and I had used the heated seats driving around town. I finally got fed up with the warning and not knowing if my truck would break down somewhere remote as I am living in northern alberta. I went and got a motomaster eliminator agm battery, the one you see in those commercials and (fingers crossed) have not seen the warning in a few weeks. I dropped my battery off at ford to have them test it and they said it was defective and that they have seen alot of them lately.

They wouldnt cover the battery since it wasnt in the vehicle when I brought it in, but at least I know it was an issue.

Just hope the AGM battery holds up. So far it works awesome and everything works as advertised.

Default DCT Code

I hooked up my SCT yesterday and it showed a DCT Code: P068A
ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized Performance - Too Early.
On Power Supply Relay (J271/J317). I think the relay was the one making all the noise from the fuse panel under the hood. I think Ill just get a new one from Ford. I hope this will end my problems.

I think you have the right idea and it is certainly worth a try. But.... I think the problem is with the software that controls that relay.
